An exploration of language and technology. Part of an ongoing exploration of iOS as a medium, in collaboration with Toby Sherman.

Two artists take turns writing journal entries in abstract characters and symbols. Digital scans are then made of the writings and saved onto an iPhone, where Apple’s live text feature interprets and copies whatever it deems to be valid characters. The output is a series of incomprehensible cryptographic poems.
