Patchwork is a blend of generative art and photography. Images of houses I thought were unique or interesting in my neighborhood are given to a program written with Java to output random streetscapes. Through the numerous iterations of unique streetscapes the collection of houses once seen as unique within the context of my neighbourhood slowly takes on the defining elements of mass-suburbia: repetitive and with a lack of diversity in housing types.
